Candida

Candida (Candida Albicans)

There are over 20 species of Candida yeast that can cause infection in humans, the most common of which is Candida albicans.

Candida albicans is affecting more and more people every day. Signals that we have a problem with the overgrowth of the Candida may be:

  • inflammation
  • abdominal pain
  • prolonged fatigue
  • bloating
  • white coating on the tongue
  • bad breath
  • constipation and diarrhea

This is unfortunately only the beginning because it can be much worse.
Excessive growth of Candidiasis in the gastrointestinal tract is dangerous. Make no mistake. This is a chronic health condition.
Untreated candidiasis can lead to serious diseases or disorders.

These are just few symptoms of Candida:

  • breathing problems
  • asthmatic conditions
  • exhaustion
  • UTI (urinary tract infection)
  • skin problems
  • loss of libido
  • joint pain
  • hormone imbalance
  • thyroid gland problems
  • food intolerance
  • anxiety
  • chronic fatigue
  • brain fog ( lack of focus, and concentration)
  • chronic sinus & allergy issues
  • gastrointestinal problems
  • leaky gut syndrome

Fortunately, we can deal with this situation by reaching for the appropriate herbal preparations. At the same time, we must radically change the way we eat and strengthen the body’s resistance.

However, the herbs alone or the “diet” itself will not be enough. Both factors should be applied simultaneously.

What does Candida feed on?

Candida feeds primarily on simple sugars:

  • all sweets & cookies
  • products from white wheat flour
  • yeast products like bread / rolls
  • alcohol yeast products
  • fizzy & sugar drinks ( beware of artificial sweeteners also)
  • pasta / dumplings

All these products must be eliminated at the time of the treatment. The best is to forget about their existence. It’s not easy but is very manageable.

This will take you just ONE WEEK to re-program your mind. Guarantee You!

In addition, it is important to limit the intake of starch in the first period of the fight against Candida, so mainly: potato and white rice.

Processed foods containing artificial flavors, colors, preservatives and TRANS FATS should be avoided. Also excluded are products such as:

  • sauces, mustard, ketchup, cold cuts, yellow cheese, moldy cheese etc
  • alcohol
  • all pasteurized milk products: yogurts, milk ( casein! ), cottage cheese
  • colorful drinks & energy drinks
  • black tea and coffee
  • juices / fruits and products containing yeast (e.g. beer) with the exception of lemon and grapefruit ( only fresh fruits )Well, You will probably say: So what can I eat??? My answer is lots !!!

Before I start one more extremely important information, I call this a PROTOCOL:

  • Avoid mixing Protein with Carbohydrates at the same time !!!
  • Avoid drinking during a meal ( you allow to drink ½ hr before or 2 hr after the meal).
  • The level of stomach acidity (1.5 – 3.5 pH ) must be low enough, to break down the food (remember chemistry lessons?)

The food intake should consist of 80% raw and fresh products with a predominance of vegetables and a small amount of fruits.

Here is the list of allowed foods:

  • bread – only rye sourdough (without yeast), also baked from such flour or from spelled
  • buckwheat, barley, brown rice, wild rice
  • all vegetables except starchy ones: big NO to potatoes, corn, pumpkin, zucchini, squash
  • any food containing sulfur amino acid: homemade sauerkraut / gherkins / eggs / cauliflower / kale / broccoli / turnips/ radish / avocado/garlic/ beans
  • poultry meat (in the BIO version, i.e. without antibiotics): chicken, duck, turkey
  • fish in any version except smoked
  • cold cuts – only your own baking (that is, no artificial additives)
  • small amounts of fruit: lemon, grapefruit, green apples, blueberries, blueberries, avocados!
  • salads from leafy greens, bitter greens
  • fermented vegetables and juices
  • kefir(!), buttermilk, sour milk – only from farmer /country milk
  • clarified butter
  • herbal and fruit teas: VILCACORA (Cat’s claw=Uncaria Tomtentosa – the best herbal natural candida remedy), mint, lemon balm, green tea, nettle tea

Spices also have strong anti-fungal properties, so it is worth adding:

  • oregano! ( 1 tbs of black cumin oil, add 3 drops of oregano oil = consume 3 times per day; from the 4th day reduce the portion to twice a day. Do it up to 7-8 days)
  • thyme
  • turmeric
  • clove or clove oil
  • cayenne pepper
  • cinnamon

Probiotics and prebiotics and what Candida does not like.

The most common cause of Candida yeast hyperplasia is the terrible quality of chemically contaminated food, stress and antibiotic therapy. All this – destroys intestinal bacterial flora, which is difficult to rebuild later.

Therefore, we must supplement our diet with probiotics and prebiotics.

Probiotics are food products containing live cultures, and beneficial bacteria. In a healthy body, they are found in the gastrointestinal microflora and not only facilitate digestion but also determine the absorption of vitamins and minerals.

The best of probiotics are good sources of fermented dairy products: yogurt, kefir or buttermilk as well as silage: sauerkraut, and pickled cucumbers as I mentioned before.

Ideally, the best products are products prepared at home, because shop products usually contain preservatives.

Be careful about the so-called sauerkraut! In contrast, shop sauerkraut does not contain any valuable bacteria or good “acidity”. This product contains vinegar with the addition of sugar and potassium sorbate (causes skin and scalp irritation).

Prebiotics, on the other hand, are non-digestible foods (containing, for example, fiber), but they create excellent conditions for the development of beneficial intestinal bacteria.

The best sources are raw chicory root, beans, asparagus, garlic, leeks, onions and other root vegetables.

Here are (remember – only good source) foods that have anti-fungal or probiotic properties at the same time and should be included in the diet against Candida:

  • garlic
  • oregano
  • onion
  • leek
  • coconut
  • rutabaga ( Swedish turnip)
  • turnip
  • olive oil
  • lemons and limes
  • pumpkin seeds
  • broccoli
  • brussels sprouts
  • rocket
  • watercress
  • sauerkraut
  • green apples

Do you still think, that your plate looks empty and you lack of choice? I don’t think so.

It can only get better! Trust me!

My favorite subject! Herbs & Aromatherapy oils!

I suggest using CPTG ( Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade ) aromatherapy oils. These are the aromatherapy oils, that can also be used as dietary supplements supporting a variety of health conditions. I highly recommend doTERRA oils. I have been using doTERRA myself, have never been disappointed and always recommend it to all my family and friends.

The best herbal supplements for the Candida Albicans:

Each herbal treatment should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor because herbs can also be overdosed.

Some of the herbs have a very strong effect (eg wormwood) and, like any substance, in too large doses, can be poisonous.

The following list:

  • oregano oil (Origanum vulgare) – contains precious caprylic acid
  • black walnuts
  • Pau d’Arco (otherwise known as La Pacho)
  • wormwood
  • grapefruit seed extract
  • propolis
  • echinacea (Echinacea) – also effective in other cases of Candida
  • vilcacora (Cat’s claw)
  • olives leaf extract
  • berberine
  • tea tree oil
  • clove oil
  • coconut oil
  • myrrh oil ( helps to kill parasites & fungi)
  • aloe

We can’t forget about good supplements ( this depends on how healthy and resourceful your food is).

My favorite of all the vitamins is Vitamin C. The list of benefits of Vitamin C is endless. Don’t underestimate it !!! I will have to write another article here. Must only say: 1000 mg of Vitamin C a day will not get you anywhere. You might as well stop taking in it or stop losing your money. Be wise, listen to your body, learn and act.

Help your body stay in balance and keep candida at bay…
